Mission Statement

"Our mission is to bring greater awareness of brain tumors and to raise funds for
brain cancer research at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY."
• BUFFALO GOES GRAY•
In 2008, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had a craniotomy to remove the benign growth.  In 2012, the tumor had returned and required me to undergo another brain surgery.  My second surgery was performed at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Roswell Park is recognized as a premier comprehensive care center in America and strives to achieve excellence in patient treatment and care, clinical programs, and research.  The doctors, nurses, and staff were all exceptional at helping my family and me through this stressful and difficult time. In 2023 I completed chemotherapy and radiation for a third benign brain tumor.

Since my recovery, I have been reinvigorated with a passion to help those who are less fortunate than I am. I have searched for a way to help support Roswell Park in furthering their research to find a cure for brain cancer and to bring more awareness and education regarding brain tumors.

Buffalo Goes Gray was formed as a non-profit charitable organization to raise funds to bring awareness of brain tumors and further research for brain cancer treatment at Roswell Park. In 2024 we officially become recognized as a non-profit and will continue our effort and fight to find a cure with your help.
